Due to the development of communism in Asia since more than half a century ago and the rise of China in Southeast Asia, economic activities become the easiest window to peak at the governance history and political tendency of a city. Especially in Phnom Penh, where the foreign exchange policies and investment-related regulations are loose, gambling business, international development, and construction projects drive downstream industries, such as private currency exchange, Chinese restaurants, and Chinese groceries, to change the urban appearance.
Among them, Chinese restaurants not only provide services to Chinese investors and tourists, Chinese immigrants also often choose to operate Chinese restaurants to support themselves as Chinese restaurants have low operation thresholds and diverse formats. Many Chinese restaurants also do private currency exchange, and, with electronic payment, form a complex international underground economic network.
The artist asked a tuk-tuk tour guide to organize a one-day tour in Phnom Penh to visit all the Chinese restaurants that local people can find to shoot these series of photos.

其中，中國餐館不僅為來訪的中國投資客與遊客提供服務，由於經營門檻低，型態多元，成為中國移民出國常見的營生選項，常見同時經營私人匯兌一行，與電子支付共同形成複雜的跨國地下經濟網絡。
藝術家商請一名以服務外國遊客為主的嘟嘟車導遊安排了一日的金邊中國餐廳行程，造訪城市中所有當地人所能找到的中國餐廳，並拍下這組作品。
